I am looking an experienced developer with a minimum 2:1 degree (BSc) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. You will be involved in the whole life cycle development process.
Core skills and experience
Strong Java programming skills including the use of Java 1.5 language features
Database Development on MSSQL, Oracle or MySQL using SQL and JDBC
Working knowledge of XML, XML Schema and XSLT
Web Development - JSP, Servlets, JavaScript
Working knowledge of at least one J2EE container such as Tomcat, JBoss, Websphere or Weblogic.
Analytical and problems solving skills
Effective use of design patterns and unit testing frameworks
Familiarity with at least one J2EE application framework such as Spring, Struts etc
Team working skills
Desirable skills and experience
Previous experience developing scalable, multi threaded business applications
Experience in developing Workflow systems, CRM, SCM or ERP solutions
Eclipse development environment
Build tools such as Ant, Maven
Using version control system such as SVN, CVS
SOA and Web Services
Familiarity with at least one XML to Java binding technology such as JAXB, Castor, JiBX, XMLBeans
Exposure to OR mapping technologies such as Hibernate

Set up a document-centric site to support a complex transaction; another with a wiki and blog for group collaboration; add group tasks and events to support project management; documents and wikis for knowledge management; or use a blog for client communications and relationship management. The possibilities are endless.

The program is based around six core modules: Documents, Wiki, Blog, Tasks, Events and iSheets. Other key features support these modules throughout the application including activity streams, people profiles, search, filters, favourites, comments and tags that add a dynamic social layer to enhance content discovery, information sharing and networking.
Each site can be configured with any combination of modules to tailor its use.
